Do you have a passion for serving children of divorce or single parent families? Are you interested in contributing to Divorce Ministry 4 Kids (either a guest article or on a regular basis)? Please contact Wayne at wayne@divorceministry4kids.com for more information.

Part of our mission at Divorce Ministry 4 Kids is to “Equip people who work with children of divorce to serve these kids more effectively.” That includes bringing together the talent and expertise of people from a wide variety of backgrounds who can offer their insights and wisdom into this area of ministry. In addition to guest posts from others related to this ministry, we have gathered a top notched team of individuals who contribute on a somewhat regular basis. Here is a brief introduction to each of them.

WAYNE STOCKS

Wayne has been married to Tricia for going on 13 years now and has four kids ranging in age from 4 to 18. They are Joshua, Jacob, Lyndsey and Nathan. In addition to spending time with his wife and kids, Wayne is an avid reader. He volunteers in the children’s ministry at New Life Church of Gahanna in Gahanna, Ohio where he teaches a wonderful group of first through fifth graders every Sunday morning and runs games for the midweek AWANA program for kids from kindergarten through sixth grade.

Wayne did not grow up in church, and God did not draw him into his Kingdom until he was 30 years old following the birth of his third child. He discovered shortly thereafter that God intended him to spend the rest of his life working with kids and teaching them about Jesus. Recently, God has clarified that mission to specifically include children of divorce and children from single parent families. In addition to starting Divorce Ministry 4 Kids, Wayne has also started two other blogs. Kidmin1124 was started as a site to minister to those who volunteer in children’s ministry. Dad in the Middle is Wayne’s personal blog. Wayne also contributes to the site Ministry-to-Children.com which is one of the leading children’s ministry sites on the internet.
