Christmas and the Child of Divorce

It’s the Monday before Thanksgiving which can only mean one thing:

In less than a week, the focus of the entire nation will turn to Christmas!!!

For many of us, Christmas is a joyous time filled memories of Christmases gone by, but for children of divorce the season brings all kinds of additional stressors and emotions.  At DivorceMinistry4Kids, we’ve put together the following simple infographic to help you help children of divorce navigate this Christmas season.  It includes an explanation as to why Christmas is not always the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” for kids, tips of parents and others for helping children of divorce as well as a brief reminder of what Christmas is really all about.  This resource is intended for parents, children’s pastors and anyone else who work with children.  (please click on the graphic for a larger pdf version of the resource)

Wayne: Fantastic post and wonderful download. Hope you don’t mind, but we plan to share a link to this post with all DC4K leaders via our email forum!

Thanks for a great tool to help hurting kids!
