Divorce leaves children feeling powerless over their own lives. As decision after decision is made affecting all aspects of their lives, these kids are left with no control and very little input. Faced with a sense of powerlessness, many of these children will act out in anger and misbehavior – something they do have control over.
At Divorce Ministry 4 Kids, we have put together the following one page infographic on helping children of divorce deal with powerlessness related to the divorce of their parents (click on the picture below for a full sized pdf version of the pamphlet). Please feel free to share this pamphlet with parents and others who work with children of divorce.
